Young people, for real.
Youth For Real is a youth, music, publishing and digital evangelism ministry in the Zimbabwe West Union Conference. We meet young people where they are, help them find direction, and invite them to follow Christ.
Our story
Thirty years, one purpose
Our philosophy goes back to Youth Commitment Celebration Day on 15 September 1990, around the time West Zimbabwe Conference graduated from a Field to a Conference. This year we celebrate 30 years of working under the name Youth For Real in the Zimbabwe West Union Conference.
Today we bring together youth ministry, music, publishing and digital evangelism inspired by OneVoice27, with the backing of the Union leadership and a board of trustees.
The challenge we answer
Many young people in Zimbabwe face unemployment and an unclear future. Some turn to drugs, social media or crime, and many feel the adults around them have no answers.
Youth For Real starts by replacing hopelessness with hope, then helps young people plan their future on God's terms.
Mingle
Show up in young people's lives as someone who wants their good.
Serve
Meet real needs through books, music, training and mentoring.
Invite
Win trust, then invite them to follow Jesus.
Leadership and board
A growing team of authors, designers, developers, musicians and professionals.

Music and singing groups
Songs with a message
Our board includes composers and producers who have written over 200 songs. We want young people to sing music that is poetic and solid in message, in a sound that feels like theirs.
- Fresh arrangements of existing compositions
- Audio and video releases, coming soon
- Recording and PA support for partner groups
Partner with us
Young people travel across the city to hear their favourite singing groups. We want to work with groups who share our mission and can help more youth hear the message.
